Art in Bloom
Art in Bloom was created to further beautify the city of Lewes with outdoor art. Its mission is to enhance the beautification and cultural environment of Historic Lewes and the community at large by means of public art in the form of sculptures, murals, mosaics, and other art projects that enrich the lives of the citizens of Lewes.
Children's Learning Garden
The mission of the Children's Learning Garden is to create a learning garden where families can see how local fruits, flowers and vegetables grow. The garden provides hands-on experiences through supervised activities by LIB members and community volunteers.
The committee consists of LIB members and community members. The committee meets monthly from March through September at the Lewes Library. Children’s events are held at the garden on Mondays and Fridays from mid-June through August at 10:30 am. Activities are centered around garden-inspired stories, science, food, and arts and crafts.
Decorating
The Decorating Committee decorates some of our downtown gardens and barrels with seasonal decorations for the fall and holiday seasons. These decorations enhance the downtown area after the annuals of summer have been pulled. This committee also designs, builds and decorates the LIB entry for the Annual Lewes Holiday Parade.

Co-chairs organize a team to prepare for this sale. Plants are donated by members and brought to the warehouse to be potted as needed and priced. Chairs coordinate the drop-off of plants at the warehouse and schedule volunteers to pot and price as well as sell at this event.
WREATH SALE
Chair (or co-chairs) organize a group of volunteers to promote and sell wreaths to local homes and businesses. Tasks include taking orders, receiving payments, preparing wreaths for distribution, and delivery of the wreaths.

Garden Patron Programs
The Patron (Volunteer) Program is the frontline in the maintenance of all our gardens. A patron is any member who works in an LIB garden. Each garden has one or two Lead Patrons who organize their volunteers to provide seasonal planting and general garden upkeep. The number of patrons volunteering varies by the size of the gardens and the need. However, any member wishing to volunteer in a specific location will not be turned away. Become a patron!
Governance
The governance committee provides guidance to the LIB Board of Advisors, recruits new members & reviews policies as needed.
