Stango Park Garden

Located along Kings Highway at the corner of Adams Avenue, Stango Park serves as the gateway to Lewes and was named after a former Lewes mayor. With its outdoor concert stage and arboretum, it is part of a 10-acre cultural campus which includes the Rollins Center, the Children’s Learning Garden, railroad rolling stock on a preserved section of track, and the Lewes Public Library. It is adjacent to a trailhead for the Junction-Breakwater and Georgetown-Lewes bicycle / multi-use trails. Here is a varied, beautiful landscape with both shade-loving plants such as hostas and a variety of annuals in garden beds along King’s Highway.
