Located at the corner of Savannah Rd and 3rd St, the Delaware Community Foundation building is on the National Register of Historic Places. It was constructed in 1898 by the Sussex Trust Title and Safe Deposit Company, was donated to the GFWC Zwaanandael Women’s Club in 1929, sold to Historic Lewes in 2015 who sold it to DCF in 2024. It is one of our smaller gardens but it grows beautifully with a colorful array of spring and summer flowers.
