1812 Garden

This park commemorates the defense of Lewes against a two-day bombardment by the British fleet on April 6 to 7, 1813. Located at the corner of Savannah Road and Front Street, this is the largest garden within downtown Lewes. This park has a varied, beautiful landscape adjacent to the Canal that includes a landscaped slope, five separate gardens and barrels all situated in a park setting. It presents a breathtaking view to complement the adjacent canal.
