The City of Lewes will be celebrating its Dutch Heritage April 12-15, 2012 when over 6,000 tulip bulbs bloom in our City Parks. Our gardens will be displaying a wide range of tulip varieties. Activities, exhibits and contests will be offered to the public during the weekend: photography exhibit contest and workshop, Plein Air Artists, and trolley tours. Stop in at the many shops around town and get a tulip stamped on your town map. Also visit the Zwaanendael Museum for special Dutch exhibits and Lewes Historical Society’s Restoration Destination at Lewes Presbyterian Church. This weekend will be filled with enjoyment for everyone as they walk through our parks, along the canal, and throughout the town of Lewes.
