Now celebrating its 10th Anniversary, Lewes in Bloom continues its award-winning participation in the beautification of Lewes. Herbs propagated from the Fisher-Martin Herb Garden will be available, as well as 140 pots of perennials from the Kings Highway Garden. Varieties include Bearded Iris, Louisiana Iris, Daylilies, Asters, Monarda, Rudbeckia, Phlox, Nepeta (Catmint), Salvia, Sedum, Chrysanthemum and Helenium. Stop by our Plant Sale to peruse our offerings of not only plants, but also Lewes in Bloom T-shirts, visors and caps as well as garden books, gloves and Lewes postcards.
Partnering with the City of Lewes Parks and Rec and the Lewes Chamber of Commerce, Lewes in Bloom continues to present an inviting atmosphere not only for visitors to our coastal area but also for residents' year-round enjoyment. The town was awash with 10,000 tulip blossoms this spring and anticipates a summer full of bountiful baskets and planters around town. Volunteers efforts ensure that Second Street, the Canal Bridge, St. Peters Church, Kings Highway and other garden spots will be festooned with color.
