Lewes in Bloom

Landscaped Areas

Tulip Project
(details about Tulip Festival)

In 2006, 2009 and 2010, tulip bulbs were planted in the fall to beautify areas in town and at the Kings Highway entrance to Lewes.

Some of our gardens contain signage to publicize our group's efforts.

We are looking forward to a profusion of colors each spring when the tulips bloom again.

Kings Highway

The primary landscaped garden is at the entrance to Lewes on Kings Highway.
Over the years, it has contained a mix of annuals and perennials. In 2008 - 2009,
most of the plantings were converted to perennials.

After LIB volunteers cleanup, the City of Lewes cooperates by picking up trash bags.
